Are Dani and Andre Really Done?

It looks that way when Dani finds Andre on the couch instead of in her bed, contemplating his future. He admits he’s starting to think about settling down, and they both know that was never going to be with her. They share a bittersweet goodbye filled with more honesty than either probably wanted, Dani even throwing in a fake well-wish for Andre and Ashley before admitting she didn’t mean it — because manners.

She then heads to see Bill and Hayley. With Hayley resting upstairs, Dani apologizes to her ex for everything, but Bill refuses to believe their argument caused Hayley’s loss. In a gut-punch of a moment, he opens up about seeing the baby as a second chance to fix the mistakes he made with Chelsea and Naomi. He breaks down, Dani comforts him… and of course, that’s when Hayley walks in.

Hayley accepts Dani’s apology — mostly because she’s too exhausted to go full verbal smackdown — and later tells Bill she’s not sure she can try again. Bill, ever the optimist, insists it could still happen and promptly adds another $100k to the future college fund. Dani later confides in Nicole that she’s still in love with Bill, feelings she tried to bury but that came rushing back when he opened up to her.

Ashley Turns Down Andre’s Big Gesture

Jan and Ashley have their usual chat about men, with Ashley declaring she’s going to rely on herself instead of a boyfriend. Jan beams with pride — right until Andre shows up at the hospital with a thoughtful gift, a framed photo from their “Paris” night, and news that he’s broken things off with the other woman he was seeing. Ashley’s reaction? To turn him down flat. Girl, what are you doing? Even Andre looks baffled, asking if she really wants to stop before they’ve started, before walking away disappointed.

Devon Hamilton Makes an Offer Anita Refuses

Anita catches Vernon trying to sneak out early, suspecting something’s up. Later at the country club, Vernon and Anita meet their surprise guest — none other than Devon Hamilton from The Young and the Restless. Devon pitches Anita a music project, but she turns it down, saying she doesn’t have the bandwidth to make an album. Instead, she suggests he sign Tracy and Sharon, and even floats the idea of releasing a classic Articulettes song with Barbara’s vocals from an old demo. They hug, business seemingly done, but when Devon runs into Dani, the look she gives him raises eyebrows. Could these two have history… or maybe a future?
