Sally Isn’t Playing House While Billy’s Plotting a Corporate Coup

Sally walked into that train car like a woman on a mission, and Billy was caught setting a romantic table like it was Valentine’s Day instead of a hostile takeover. She wasn’t having it. Did he make a backdoor deal with Cane to snatch Chancellor out from under Victor? Because the vibes were definitely sketchy. Billy tried to charm her with french fries under a fancy lid, but Sally stayed laser focused. If Billy’s planning to take Chancellor, she’s not going to be left clapping from the sidelines. She wants control of Abbott Communications, in writing.

After enough dancing around, Billy finally handed her a note with her name on it. Yes, it’s exactly what she thought it was. A signed agreement. Finally, a man who listens. Sally’s touched but still has her eyes wide open. While Billy dreams about dethroning Victor, Sally’s making sure she gets her piece of the empire too.

Cane’s Building an Empire and Playing Puppetmaster with Holden

While most everyone is in France, Cane’s actually in Genoa City making moves from the shadows like the discount Count of Monte Cristo he thinks he is. He meets with Holden, aka Mr. Novak, at the Crimson Lights patio like they’re in some B-grade spy thriller. Holden’s been quietly doing Cane’s dirty work and now gets his reward: a bigger role in the coming chaos. Cane has him lining up connections with Chelsea, Adam, Mariah, and Claire like he’s casting a soap opera of his own.

Holden’s main job? Be charming, harmless, and ask no questions. Because Cane’s whole game depends on playing innocent while pulling every string from behind the curtain. He even tells Holden to dig into Damian’s business with Lily. Someone’s jealous.

Lily’s Fed Up, Sharon’s Suspicious, and Damian’s Looking Real Cozy

Lily’s quietly losing her mind while people talk about Cane like he’s just some misunderstood businessman. Newsflash: she remembers the lying, scheming Cane that everyone seems to forget. Nick and Sharon can’t believe they’re trapped in paradise with no cell service and no way to escape the crazy. And now they have to listen to Damian try to excuse Cane’s behavior as “mysterious but generous.” Please.

Meanwhile, Damian might be falling hard for Lily, but she’s still recovering from her Cane trauma and watching Damian like he might pull the same stunts. He holds her hand for support, but she’s still trying to figure out if he’s the real deal or just another guy with smooth words and a secret plan.

Billy Seals the Deal While Cane Dreams of Lily and Takeover Glory

Back on the train, Billy and Sally are sealing their own little empire-building deal. They toast to victory with champagne while plotting the fall of Victor Newman like it’s no big deal. Billy thinks this will be the story that launches Abbott Communications, and if Victor gets flattened in the process? Oh well. Sally’s happy to sign on the dotted line, but she doesn’t let the moment pass without adding a little flair of her own: “I love you” scrawled on his hand.

Meanwhile, Cane’s over here meeting with Holden about gathering intel, imagining himself dancing with Lily, and convincing himself that this whole operation is romantic instead of deeply controlling and creepy. He’s even telling people he’s moving back to Genoa City like that’s supposed to be great news. Chelsea runs into him and nearly falls over from the shock.

And just in case anyone thought this might all blow over quietly, Lily drops the real bomb: Cane invited Chance because he thinks someone’s out to kill him. Sharon tries to console her, but Lily’s not having it. What’s the worst that could happen? Oh, just Cane locking everyone in a resort while he hijacks half the companies in Genoa City and makes a trip there all by himself.
