Steffy’s Bittersweet Sendoff
At the cliff house, Steffy packs up the kids for her much-needed escape and trades tender words with Finn. She swears she wouldn’t even be leaving if Liam’s miracle surgery hadn’t worked, but Finn admits he still can’t shake the unease surrounding it. Dr. Grace Buckingham keeps dodging his calls, and it’s eating at him. Steffy urges him to figure it out while she’s gone, sealing their goodbye with lingering kisses and the promise of a reunion.
Bill’s Tearful Plea
Over at Bill’s house, Liam reels at the news that his father shelled out a staggering million dollars for his surgery despite no guarantee of success. Bill couldn’t care less about the cost; all that matters is Liam’s life. Choking back emotion, Bill confesses he’s spent years hiding behind a tough exterior that’s destroyed too many relationships, including theirs. He begs for Liam’s forgiveness, insisting he wouldn’t have survived losing his son. Overcome, Liam embraces his father and tells him he loves him too, leaving both men visibly moved.
Brooke, Ridge and Italy’s Coming Temptation
At Forrester Creations, Eric hammers home the same advice he’s been giving Ridge for weeks: get back with Brooke before it’s too late. He also warns him about Nick, who just so happens to be on the same Italian itinerary. Meanwhile, Taylor tries to rattle Brooke with pointed digs about her true intentions for the trip. Nick arrives in time to see Taylor leave in a huff and teases Brooke about it, flashing his passport as a reminder that he’ll be in Naples too. Across the hall, Taylor pulls Ridge into a heated kiss so he won’t forget what’s waiting at home. Later, Eric catches Nick and Brooke mid-kiss and bluntly warns Nick to steer clear of Naples, but Nick simply smirks and calls it a pleasure.
Finn’s Startling Discovery
Finn drops by Bill’s to check on Liam and marvels at his seemingly flawless recovery. He examines Liam’s surgical incisions and is visibly thrown by how tiny they are, far smaller than he expected given the complexity of the operation. Liam, feeling better than he has in years, shrugs it off as a win, but Finn is unsettled. Unbeknownst to them, Grace lurks outside, her face tightening as Finn mutters that Liam’s healing is simply unbelievable.
