Gabi Gives Doug an Earful
Gabi tracked Doug down at the pub and let him have it for betraying Ari and her great-grandfather Roman. Doug tried to get ahead of her fury with a preemptive apology, but Gabi wasn’t letting him off that easy. He pulled out a letter of apology to Roman, but out popped Julie’s long-lost necklace, tangled around it. Gabi had zero time to dwell on it before storming off, leaving Doug to sort out the mess.
Susan Crashes the Party
Chanel and Johnny were fretting over Marlena when Susan waltzed in, ready to clear Johnny’s name. Susan, in all her psychic glory, promised to sniff out EJ’s real shooter. She tried to channel her powers but ended up laughing awkwardly, announcing her energy needed to “marinate” before bolting right back out the door. Johnny wasn’t exactly reassured and even muttered that maybe a private investigator would be more helpful. Desperate times, Chanel reminded him. Meanwhile, Susan popped up again just in time to accuse Gabi of shooting EJ, leaving Gwen cackling on the sidelines as Gabi swore her innocence.
Julie’s Heart Softens
Back home, Julie was still steaming when Doug appeared at her door, ready to leave Salem for good. He presented her with the necklace, confessing he had stolen it back for her. Julie’s anger melted as Doug apologized sincerely for betraying her trust. Putting the necklace on, Julie teared up, feeling close to her family again. In a moment of forgiveness, she offered to help Doug with his debts and urged him to stay out of trouble. They parted with a truce and a promise to keep in touch.

Marlena brushed off her fainting spell as stress, but her loved ones weren’t buying it. Sarah wanted more tests and later grew suspicious when Rachel casually mentioned that Sophia’s baby, supposedly a girl, was already born. After checking the chart, Sarah confirmed it: Sophia had lied about the baby’s gender. Meanwhile, Susan barged into Marlena’s apartment to offer condolences about John, only to get a psychic chill that made her skin crawl. Susan warned Marlena that something was deeply wrong with her “mind, body, and soul” before Belle hustled her out. As Marlena napped, we got a glimpse inside her dream world, where she imagined herself once again as Stefano’s Queen of the Night.
