Andre Goes All Out for Ashley

At Garland Memorial, Shanice is still salty that Ashley has been acting different since Derek switched teams. Ashley swears she’s over him, but Shanice is calling bluff. Just as Shanice offers to step back for the sake of workplace peace, Andre strolls in like the romantic cavalry. Shanice wisely excuses herself, joking about Ashley’s little black book, leaving Ashley to bask in Andre’s attention.

Andre flirts shamelessly and, after a little playful sparring about jealous nurses and globe-trotting models, asks Ashley out. When she admits she’s always dreamed of Paris, Andre delivers a surprise that would make any rom-com heroine swoon. He sends her a beret and later transforms his place into a full Parisian fantasy, complete with French music and Eiffel Tower vibes. Ashley is smitten, and honestly, who wouldn’t be?

Kat’s Regret Sets In Fast

Across town, Kat and Tomas barely finish pulling their clothes back on before Kat’s regret hits. Tomas is over the moon, but Kat labels the whole thing “lovely,” which lands like a wet blanket. Chelsea interrupts their post-coital awkwardness and immediately clocks what went down thanks to a stray condom wrapper.

When pressed, Kat admits she hated every second of it and wonders if she’s broken. Chelsea tries to soothe her, saying the first time can be weird and encouraging her to talk to Tomas. Meanwhile, Tomas is practically glowing, completely unaware that Kat is spiraling. Oh, the disconnect.

Leslie Hits Rock Bottom and Drags Eva With Her

Leslie and Eva share a nostalgic lunch at Orphey Gene’s until Leslie slides the bill to her daughter with a tale of woe about getting fired for being “too old.” Eva pays but is clearly worried. Leslie then heads straight to Ted, who doesn’t just refuse her plea for a loan; he practically throws her out. She reminds him she raised Eva alone and shielded him from child support, but Ted isn’t having it. Leslie vows not to forget the rejection, and you know she means it.

Later, she summons Eva with an “emergency,” which turns out to be her latest scheme. Leslie insists Eva hit up Ted for money, playing the guilt card about being forced to move in with her daughter. Eva caves and approaches Ted, who ultimately agrees to loan her the money. He can’t say no to his precious long-lost daughter, and Leslie knows it.

June’s Sister Spills the Family Secrets

Naomi finally tracks down June’s sister Regina, who initially slams the door but later shows up to talk. Regina confirms that June had two kids, Ron and Cecile, before deciding motherhood wasn’t for her. CPS took the children, and Regina has no idea who adopted them. She loved those kids like her own and vows never to forgive June for abandoning them.

Just as Regina finishes unloading, June walks in and freezes at the sight of her estranged sister. Could Ron and Cecile actually be Tyrell and Samantha? It’s looking more likely by the day, and when that bomb goes off, the fallout will be seismic.
