Dani Rediscovers Her Spark
Dani starts the day with a surprise run-in with Nicole at the country club. Nicole sheepishly admits that Jacob made Leslie’s assault charges disappear, and Dani can’t get over her big sister actually throwing punches. “My demure older sister, brawling in front of witnesses?” Dani teases. Nicole, still mortified, moves on to lunch with her grandkids, where Tyrell and Samantha beg her to convince Smitty to let Martin come home. Nicole promises to try, but the kids can tell there are secrets being kept.
Later, Dani cracks open some liquid courage with Pamela, who’s already busy plotting Dani’s career comeback. Pamela drops the bomb that fashion houses are throwing serious money Dani’s way. Dani worries she’s past her prime, but Pamela calls her out for quitting modeling because Bill wanted her off the runway. “It’s time to put yourself first,” Pamela urges before summoning Andre for an impromptu photo shoot. Dani protests for five seconds before giving in and having the time of her life. Pamela might be right… Dani’s still got it.
Kat and Tomas Heat Things Up
Kat’s head isn’t in her work with Chelsea because she’s too busy obsessing over Tomas and his history with Eva. Chelsea reassures her that if she wants Tomas, he’s hers. Kat calls Tomas in for a confrontation, and he swears nothing happened with Eva. He admits to feeling sympathy for her but insists his heart belongs to Kat. He even questions if Kat wants him for himself or just to get one over on Eva.
Kat admits her feelings scare her but confesses she’s crazy about him. Tomas tells her she’s the center of what he’s always wanted, which leads to a passionate make-out session that quickly escalates. “If you want me, you can have me. All of me,” Kat breathes. Tomas doesn’t need to be told twice. But as soon as it’s over, Kat’s face says what we’re all thinking: did she just make a huge mistake?
June’s Mystery Money and Naomi’s Warnings
June and Naomi grab lunch at Orphey Gene’s, where June flaunts a wad of cash and snaps at the waitress for trying to peek at her prized family photo. The chaotic lunch ends when Hayley arrives and Naomi gets grilled about whether her dad Bill is a killer. Naomi dodges the question but warns Hayley that her husband has layers she hasn’t seen, and not all of them are pretty. When Hayley presses, Naomi tells her to ask Bill directly.
Jacob then joins Naomi with an address tied to June’s mystery photo, and Naomi decides to track it down. She’s not just curious for June’s sake, though… she’s dying to know who the kids in the picture are. Could June’s secret tie her to Tyrell and Samantha?
Hayley Puts Bill on the Spot
Taking Naomi’s advice, Hayley confronts Bill about Nicole’s murder accusations. Bill insists he’d never hurt her and downplays Nicole’s outburst, telling Hayley as much as he wants her to know. She can tell he’s hiding something, but chooses to let it go. Bill assures her that if he ever keeps details from her, it’s only to spare her, not because he’s guilty of anything. He even claims, “Killing is a fool’s pastime. I’m much smarter than that.” Hayley accepts his explanation and vows that no one is putting anything over on her husband. Sure, Hayley… keep telling yourself that.
