The Young and the Restless Recap - Tuesday, June 24, 2025 | Cane Drops Bombshells and Lily Drops the Mic

Looks like The Young and the Restless just booked a one-way trip to Chaos Central, and Cane Ashby is the conductor. In Tuesday’s recap, Lily’s jaw hit the floor after finding out her ex has been living a whole double life. Michael Baldwin found himself lost in a literal maze and a metaphorical mess, and Victor Newman? Well, he got a front-row seat to Cane’s grand pitch for Chancellor Industries. Let’s dive into the wild, winding, and oh-so-suspicious latest happenings in Genoa City.

Cane and Lily | Y&R, CBS SONY

Lily’s World Gets Flipped (Again)

Lily is absolutely not here for the lies and the drama, but unfortunately for her, she’s neck-deep in both. While Damian and Devon are ready to call it a night and book it back to Genoa City, Lily’s not moving an inch. Her ex-husband has been moonlighting as Aristotle Dumas for six years, lying to everyone—including the kids. Devon wants her to cut her losses, but Lily’s in no mood to let Cane have the last word. She needs answers and she’s not leaving without them.

When Cane finally tries to have a quiet word, Lily serves him reality on a silver platter. No, she doesn’t want to hear about how he remembers their wedding. No, she’s not buying his “you’re the love of my life” pitch. And no, she will not be here tomorrow unless she feels like it. After ripping up his little love note and tossing it like yesterday’s garbage, Lily made one thing clear—Cane may be back, but he is not getting back in.

Cane’s Big Reveal and Victor’s Big Rejection

Meanwhile, the ever-unbothered Victor is out here shutting down Cane’s grand plan with the force of a corporate wrecking ball. Cane wants to hand over his entire Arabesque empire for a slice of Chancellor pie. But Victor? He’s not biting. He reminds Cane that making everyone think he was dead doesn’t exactly scream “trustworthy.” If Cane thinks he can buy respectability, he might want to try someone else. Or better yet, go after Jabot. Victor would love to see that drama unfold.

Nikki and Nick are just as skeptical. Nick wants to know what they’re even getting in return for Chancellor. Nikki makes it crystal clear she’s not about to give away Katherine’s legacy. Even though Arabesque is worth more than Chancellor on paper, the name and the meaning behind it aren’t up for grabs.

Michael and Lauren Maze-Walk Into a Hot Mess

Michael, Lauren, Abby, and Chance make their grand entrance just in time to realize they missed everything. While Michael gripes about being forced to stumble around in the dark, Sally’s quick to inform him that the chateau is real but off-limits. Charming, right? Once they’re updated on Cane’s shocking identity, Michael has questions. Too bad none of them come with satisfying answers.

Victor gives Michael a classic Newman scowl for showing up, even though Cane personally insisted he attend. Diane takes the opportunity to remind everyone that not everyone is under Victor’s thumb, and Michael gives her a cheeky little toast for that one. When Cane finally addresses the group, he plays it cool, claims he’s turning over a new leaf, and drops a hint that Michael might be part of his plan. Michael’s intrigued. Everyone else? Suspicious and slightly buzzed.

Cane’s Final Move: Calling in a Cop

If Cane’s plot wasn’t twisty enough, here comes the curveball. He pulls Chance aside, not to catch up on family matters, but to drop a chilling confession. He doesn’t think someone might try to kill him. He’s sure of it. Why was Chance invited? Not as a Chancellor, but as a detective. Someone’s gunning for Cane, and he wants protection.

With everyone from the Baldwins to the Abbotts to the Newmans all tangled up in this web, it’s clear Cane has kicked off something much bigger than a chateau retreat. Soap Opera Reviews delivers daily spoilers and recaps so you never miss a thing. We live for the drama!
