The Bold and the Beautiful Recap - Thursday, June 19, 2025 | Hope Draws the Line, Daphne Dodges the Drama, and Brooke Shakes Things Up With Nick and Katie

Hope is not about to let Steffy’s plans derail her relationship, Daphne isn’t rushing back to L.A. no matter how strong the cologne is, and Ridge is melting down over Nick’s return. In Thursday's The Bold and the Beautiful recap, loyalty is tested, jealousy is bubbling, and the word “boundaries” is being dragged through the mud.

Hope Isn’t Here for Steffy’s Scented Sabotage

Steffy, Carter and Hope are having a normal day at Forrester until Steffy decides to throw a little chaos into the mix. She announces that it’s time to bring Daphne back from Paris. Cue the record scratch. Carter immediately looks like he swallowed a lemon, and Hope raises her perfectly arched brow. Daphne, the fragrance queen who once had her nose in more than just perfume, has the hots for Carter. Now that Hope is engaged to him, of course, Steffy thinks it’s the perfect time to bring her back.

Hope’s not about to fake excitement. She floats the idea of hiring someone else with a great sense of smell who didn’t previously try to snatch her man. Steffy brushes it off, claiming Daphne is a professional who will totally respect the ring. Hope is not buying that fairy tale, and honestly, who would?

Later, in the wardrobe room, Carter and Hope sneak in a kiss and try to smooth over the Daphne situation. He swears she has nothing to worry about, and she insists it’s not jealousy, she just has zero trust in a woman who once made Carter her passion project. Daphne may love Paris, but Hope’s smart enough to know that the right man could pull her back to L.A. in a heartbeat. Carter reassures her again, but Hope doesn’t look convinced.

Daphne Isn’t Sprinting Back to the Scene of the Almost-Crime

Across the ocean in Paris, Daphne answers a call from Steffy, who’s positively giddy about fragrance sales and singing her praises. Steffy wants the genius behind their next big hit back on American soil immediately. But Daphne, sipping her imaginary espresso, isn’t so easily persuaded.

She reminds Steffy why she hightailed it out of L.A. in the first place. That would be because she caught feelings for Carter and then watched him slip a ring on Hope’s finger. Steffy tries to spin it as strictly business, but Daphne isn’t in a rush to dive back into a city full of unresolved feelings. After hanging up, she’s hit with a whole highlight reel of Carter moments and looks more conflicted than ever. This woman may have the sharpest nose in the business, but right now, she’s sniffing out emotional landmines.

Ridge Still Can’t Stand the Sailor

At the Forrester mansion, Taylor zeroes in on Ridge’s cranky energy. Turns out the source of his mood is none other than Nick Marone, who popped up at Forrester the day before and had the nerve to be charming. Ridge isn’t just annoyed. He’s seething. He saw Nick with Brooke and instantly spiraled into full-blown bitterness.

Taylor calls him on it, trying to get him to admit he’s jealous. Ridge dances around it with his usual “it’s not about Brooke” routine, before launching into a tirade about how much he loathes Nick. He throws Bill into the mix for good measure, lumping both men into the “egomaniac” category. Taylor suggests that maybe Brooke and Nick reconnecting has hit a nerve. Ridge insists he’ll never like Nick and storms off into a hug that says, “I’m fine, but also not fine at all.”

Brooke Leaves Katie Gagged with the Nick News

Back at Forrester, Brooke is processing the Nick encounter with Katie, who immediately clocks that her sister is emotionally spinning. Katie pries it out of her, and Brooke drops the bomb: Nick is back in town. Not only that, but he showed up unannounced, flashed those signature eyes, and laid a kiss on her. Katie’s jaw hits the metaphorical floor.

Brooke admits Nick thinks she deserves better than Ridge and isn’t exactly wrong. She even told Ridge to come back to her, which is cute considering Nick had just walked out the door. Katie wonders if this surprise visit might be the perfect push to get Ridge to wake up. Once she finds out he walked in on the moment, she flat-out asks if he was jealous. Brooke tries to frame it as Ridge being protective, but Katie’s calling it: that man was jealous, and it shows.
