On Wednesday’s Days of Our Lives, Bo and Hope took fans on an emotional rollercoaster filled with memories, declarations of love and a fabulous exit. From reliving their past in the Horton house to exchanging vows again in a surprise at-home wedding, these two weren’t just back together. They were back in full force. Meanwhile, they made two life-changing decisions that will have Salem feeling their absence for a long time.

Hope Serves Breakfast With a Side of Nostalgia

Hope kicked off the morning with breakfast in bed for Bo, after a passionate reunion in the Horton home. She casually mentioned Julie’s kitchen remodel, which led Bo to realize the house had suffered a fire. Hope explained it all needed restoring. Cue the flashbacks of a young Tom and Alice Horton finding out they were going to be grandparents. Sentimental alert.

Bo got emotional about missing out on Hope’s struggles, but she reassured him that his presence was always with her. Still, she wished her father could have witnessed this full-circle reunion. Bo was certain Doug knew and was smiling from above.

The Horton House Has Stories in Every Corner

Walking through the house was like flipping through a family scrapbook, and Bo and Hope made sure to stop and reflect on every page. From Hope’s childhood crafts for her grandparents to the moment she learned she was pregnant with Shawn, every memory hit hard. And yes, Bo’s Christmas ornament from back in the day survived the fire. Because of course it did. Nothing symbolic dies in this house.

They cuddled on the couch, sharing laughs and deep feels about how far they’ve come. Bo may have thought he was the town rebel once upon a time, but Hope never saw it that way. They remembered Alice and Tom starting family traditions, Doug and Julie’s rocky start, and the many ways Grandma Alice always pulled people together. This house wasn’t just restored. It was reborn.

Bo Pops the Question Again With a Living Room Surprise

Bo had something up his sleeve. After gently nudging the rest of the family to give them some alone time, he sent Hope upstairs to slip into something special. And surprise, she came back down in a wedding dress, while Bo looked dapper in a suit. The living room was set like a wedding venue, and Bo was ready to make it official again.

He got down on one knee, poured his heart out, and asked Hope to remarry him. She didn’t hesitate for one second. Yes, a million times yes. He even slipped her mother’s wedding ring on her finger, thanks to Shawn. They declared themselves husband and wife all over again, sealing it with a kiss and a promise that this time, it’s forever.

The Fancy Face Sets Sail Again

As if the wedding weren’t romantic enough, Bo had one more surprise. Shawn gave them back the Fancy Face. Yes, the Fancy Face. Bo floated the idea of hopping on board and traveling the world. Hope was skeptical at first. This is her hometown, after all. But the thought of spending time with just Bo after losing twelve years won her over.

They agreed to set sail but with one condition. They always return to Salem. And Bo was completely on board with that.

A Goodbye That Hits All the Feels

Before leaving, Bo and Hope took a quiet moment in front of Tom and Alice’s plaque in the square. They reflected on how hard goodbyes can be, but also on how beautiful their journey has been. The show ended with a touching flashback montage of their iconic love story. As they turned to walk away, Bo said goodbye to Salem. Hope promised it was only until next time. We're guessing November sweeps.
