Young and Restless Recap | Phyllis has a Proposition for Victor After Snatching Billy's Phone - Tuesday, May 13, 2025 [SPOILERS]

Monday's Young and the Restless full episode recap serves up betrayal, bold moves, and backdoor deals. From Phyllis sneaking around to Chelsea doubling down on Adam, here’s everything that went down with a splash of Newman-brand control issues.

Phyllis | Y&R, CBS SONY

Billy's Caught in the Middle: Welcome to the Victor Vortex

At Society, Sally’s serving more than just sarcasm—she’s giving Billy a reality check. Forget wasting time trying to “help” Dumas steal Chancellor from Victor. Billy may secretly enjoy watching Victor fall from grace, but Sally’s not here for pointless drama. She wants him focused—and maybe a little more dessert. Just when things are getting real, Phyllis appears like she’s been launched out of a cannon, all fire and no filter.

Chelsea’s Crisis of Confidence (and Then Some)

Chelsea swings by Adam’s office to question if working under Victor is a smart career move or a direct ticket to disaster. Adam’s ready to argue until she dangles the possibility of backing out.
Chelsea | Y&R
But don’t worry—Chelsea remembers her niche in mental health and decides to stay... with a warning. If Adam pulls a dirty move, especially against Billy, she’s out faster than a Newman press release.

Lily’s Jazz Lounge Intel Mission

Lily’s not here to sip cocktails—she’s luring Damian into her plan with charm and business strategy. Why him? His contacts, credibility, and the not-so-small fact that he can convince Dumas he’s flipped. Her plan? Let Damian play mole and extract Dumas’ endgame. She wants trust, loyalty, and for him to remember his daddy’s legacy before making any shady decisions.

Phyllis Is Up to Something... Again

Still lurking like a glam specter, Phyllis tells Billy she’s teaming up with her son Daniel. Billy doesn’t blink, which leaves her stunned. Later, while he’s off checking on dessert with Sally, Phyllis covers his phone like she’s swaddling stolen treasure—and boom, it's in her purse.

A few napkins and a park bench later, she’s hacking into it like a teenager trying to dodge parental controls. What's his passcode? Delia’s birthday? Too easy.

Victor Plays Puppet Master—Again

Over at the club, Chelsea and Adam bump into Victor, who’s suspiciously happy she took the Newman Media job.

Adam & Victor | Y&R
But let’s be real—he doesn’t do anything without a motive. He wants a private chat with Adam to pause the hit piece on Billy. Timing is everything, and Victor wants to dangle this scandal like a carrot on a stick. Oh, and Adam? Don’t even think about selling your place to Kyle and Claire.

Meanwhile, Sally’s Done with Phyllis’ Drama

Phyllis tries her hand at casual venom by mocking Sally for playing the victim.

Sally | Y&R

Sally claps back with polite shade, then strolls off to rejoin Billy at the bar. Oh, but she’s got no idea Phyllis is now swiping through his texts like it’s a midnight scroll session. Sally, Johnny, Katie... boring. But then—hello Mr. Dumas. Jackpot.

Damian Seals the Deal—But Wants the Fine Print

Back with Lily, Damian's still flirting with the idea of being her secret weapon. He wants job details and a real paycheck before shaking hands. Lily assures him he’ll be well compensated and strategically placed near her office for maximum espionage efficiency. Damian’s in, and there’s definitely more than business sparking between these two.

Victor: King of the Unwanted Toast

Just when Chelsea and Adam are on the verge of a celebratory kiss, in barges Victor—drink in hand, opinions at the ready.

He toasts to loyalty, trust, and family values like he invented them. Chelsea's not buying it. She asks Adam if she’s signing up for a job or selling her soul. Valid question.

Phyllis Is Almost Busted... Almost

Seconds before Billy walks back into Society looking for his phone, Phyllis casually drops it on a chair and makes a break for the bathroom. Smooth criminal behavior. She’s definitely up to something and it involves a whole lot more than brunch plans.

Mission Accepted: Damian Goes Undercover

Damian’s ready to spy, stir the pot, and protect the Winters legacy. He wants an office near Lily, and she’s promising he won’t regret it. With glasses clinking and eyes locking, this mission is officially dangerous—and deliciously so.

Adam and Chelsea Try for Normal—Good Luck With That

Victor may be hovering like a storm cloud, but Chelsea tells Adam it’s time to focus on them and make Newman Media their own. He agrees—big dreams, big moves. But let’s see how long it lasts before Victor shows up again with unsolicited advice and a smug smirk.

Phyllis Corners Victor—Because of Course She Does

As if this episode needed more spice, Phyllis bumps into Victor and asks him to join her for a drink, well actually she has a proposition. He’s intrigued. Of course he is. She’s got a plan, a pitch, or possibly a blackmail plot. Whatever it is, it’s going to be messy—and we’re here for all of it.
