Y&R Recap | Tessa Tells Sharon that Something's Off with Mariah - Tuesday, May 6, 2025 [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday’s The Young and the Restless, secrets are bubbling, romances are fizzling (or reigniting), and families are, as usual, one sarcastic comment away from implosion. From Tessa's questions about Mariah to Nick's "wedding" to Sharon to Diane's family meltdown, this Y&R full episode recap has you covered.

Tessa | Y&R, CBS SONY

Victoria & Nick Stir the Pot

Over at Crimson Lights, Victoria casually drops that Cole’s in isolation at the club while waiting on test results. Nothing like a minor flu to kickstart a dramatic check-in. Nick, ever the supportive sibling, listens—barely.

Meanwhile, Sharon tiptoes into Society like she’s avoiding someone. Tessa, queen of warmth and intuition, catches the weird vibe and calls it out. Sharon insists she’s just there for takeout. Girl, please. You’re dodging feelings like it's dodgeball at summer camp.

Jack’s Trying Too Hard & Diane’s Trying Not to Cry

Jack is in full-blown apology mode, laying out breakfast and bragging about picking flowers himself. Diane’s touched, but Billy’s disapproval still lingers like a bad smell. Jack insists Billy will come around, but Diane’s not so sure. Is it the remodel or is it… her?

Adam’s Ambushed by Kyle and Claire & He Knows It

Adam shows up to meet Claire and is greeted by Kyle too. “Is this an ambush?” he deadpans. They want to buy his apartment. Together. Adam nearly chokes. “Do you know what Victor will do when he hears about this?” Still, he agrees to sell—because if you’re going to stir the pot, might as well do it with a property deal.

Sharon’s Dodging, Mariah’s Hiding & Tessa’s Worrying

Back at Society, Tessa’s picking up on Mariah’s emotional avoidance (and sarcasm). Sharon knows something’s wrong and suspects Ian is involved. Tessa starts spiraling, wondering if she did something to push Mariah away. Honey, no. You’re the only one trying to keep it together around here.

Nick Trolls Victoria With the Wedding That Never Was

Victoria starts grilling Nick about London: shared umbrellas, cozy moments... you know, couple stuff. He totally runs with it, telling her he and Sharon got married again. In Buckingham Palace. With fish and chips. Victoria nearly loses it until Nick cracks up. Classic sibling nonsense.

Diane Cracks, Jack Comforts & the Past Still Haunts

Diane, mid-breakfast and fresh off tears, admits she doesn’t just want to be part of the Abbott family—she wants in. She even considered throwing money at the problem just to feel included. Jack hugs her like she’s already family. But Diane knows the emotional toll of always being the outsider—and she’s not trying to feel that way again.

Daniel’s Guitar & Tessa’s Realization in the Park

Daniel shows up with a guitar and a heart full of sad-boy energy. Sharon peaces out immediately. Tessa insists they play in the park instead. After a few chords and one probing question—“Why do your eyes look so sad?”—Tessa spills: Mariah’s hiding something, and she’s scared it’s bad. Like relationship-wrecking bad.

Apartment Moves & Victor Warnings

Claire and Kyle are giddy about the apartment, but Diane can tell Claire’s second-guessing. And when Claire mentions she wants Victor’s blessing? Diane shuts it down hard: Do not challenge Victor unless you’re ready to get burned.

Summer wants to tell Harrison about the move herself, while Jack and Kyle head off to work. Everyone’s putting on brave faces, but we all know Victor’s about to turn this into an Abbott vs. Newman showdown.

Sharon Drops a Guilt Bomb & Victoria Puts the Pieces Together

Back at Crimson Lights, Sharon pulls Nick aside. Victoria, lurking nearby, suspects Mariah did something during her trip. She’s right. Sharon doesn’t say much, but her guilt says everything. Whatever happened, it’s serious—and Sharon knows it’s only a matter of time before the truth explodes.
