Steve & Shawn make a plan to save Bo | DOOL, Peacock

Stephanie Plays House While Jada Moves In

Let’s kick off Thursday's day’s Days of Our Lives full episode recap with a peek into Stephanie’s never-ending multitasking saga. Our girl is cleaning out her home office to give Jada her own space, because apparently Rafe and Jada are over — and she’s shacking up with Stephanie for the foreseeable future. But plot twist: last night, Jada didn’t exactly stay in the guest room. Stephanie spills to Alex that Jada crashed at Shawn’s.

Alex, being the charming chaos he is, takes that as his cue to hand Stephanie a key to his place. Privacy, baby. Not to be outdone, she sprints to give him a key to hers. Ah, young lust and poorly timed logistics. They start getting steamy, but Stephanie slams the brakes — she’s got work, a fundraiser to untangle, and a lunch date with her mom. That is, if Dr. Kayla Johnson ever picks up her damn phone.

Kayla’s Stuck Between Hippocratic Oaths & Family Ties

Meanwhile, over at the medical edge of this Days drama, Kayla and Steve are grappling with the fact that the miracle drug that might save Bo is a no-go. Dr. Russell, the killjoy of medical progress, said nope. Kayla’s tried every medical trick in her pretty little book, but nada.

She gets it — from a doctor’s standpoint. But from a sister’s perspective? She’s furious. She already gave Shawn a glimmer of hope, and now she’s got to rip it away. So she dials up her poor son and drops the bomb right before Stephanie pops in, looking all cheerful. But the mood nosedives faster than Gabi’s temper when she realizes Bo might not have a chance. At least there’s one tiny sliver of good news: Kimberly’s treatment is going well. Still no word on John, though. Because obviously Salem can’t have nice things.

Shawn Gets Fired Up & Ready to Steal a Drug

Over at the Brady Pub, Shawn is attempting to hold it together over breakfast with Jada. She might be babysitting him to make sure he doesn’t drown his sorrows, but Shawn's not dumb — he knows why she’s really there. When Philip strolls in, Shawn gives him the grim Bo update, including a sliver of hope: that miracle drug Kayla mentioned.

Cue Kayla calling again — and yanking the rug out from under everyone. The drug’s off the table. Philip, ever the supportive uncle, offers his shoulder before peacing out. Jada heads off to deal with city hall stuff, and Shawn hits the pavement for a run — and maybe a plan.

But hold onto your syringes: Shawn rings up Uncle Steve. He’s done playing nice. If Dr. Russell won’t give them the drug, maybe they’ll just take it. Like, steal it. As in, full-blown pharmaceutical heist. Steve meets him at the pub where Shawn outlines his plan, Mission: Save Dad. Steal the miracle cure, save Bo, keep Russell’s career intact. Steve’s eyebrows practically fly off his face, but he gets it. He tells Shawn he’ll do it himself because if Shawn's involved he'll lose his police job. Cue ominous music.

Gabi Goes Nuclear on Everyone

Let’s take a detour into the chaos hurricane that is Gabi. She finds Leo elbows-deep in her purse and immediately accuses him of theft. Honestly, valid. Leo’s sketch factor is always a solid 10. But before she can toss him into the street, Javi walks in and Gabi demands Leo’s eviction. She insists Leo stole Rafe’s memory card, which... sounds about right. Javi, however, calls foul — there’s no proof.

Gabi drags Javi to the office, still ranting. There, she finds Philip acting like the place belongs to him. His Titan office is “under renovation,” so he’s playing king in hers. She loses it. Not just at Philip, but at Javi too, who’s had enough and exits stage left. Philip wisely dips when he gets a call, and Gabi responds by trashing his laptop. Because that’s how adults handle conflict in Salem.

Xander Plots, Alex Grovels & Philip Just Won’t Leave

Across town, Xander and Alex are cooking up plans to boot Philip from the business without sinking DiMera in the process. Xander doesn’t exactly trust Alex (shocking), but Alex makes puppy eyes and promises no more secrets. Cue the handshake of awkward alliance.

Gabi calls Alex about her $15,000 date — yes, she bought him at the auction. And she’s not here for a coffee date. She wants extravagance, something worthy of that kind of cash. Alex is clearly over it but tries to keep it cute. Gabi’s not having it. Platonic or not, she paid, and he’s on the hook.

Philip, being the nosy little gremlin he is, overhears this convo and raises a smug brow. Gabi tells him to dig his trashed laptop out of the bin. But Javi, the human buffer, is MIA.

Xander returns to find Alex fuming over his forced date planning and the fact that the fundraiser barely scraped together any real money. Xander’s solution? Buy the hospital himself. Too bad their assets are locked up tighter than Gabi’s temper. So they pivot back to strategy. Xander wants to keep DiMera Pharmaceuticals — and after today, we all know why.

Leo Makes a List, Checks it Twice & Javi Isn’t Having It

Leo, left alone, starts working on a list of suspects in EJ’s shooting. He thinks Gabi did it. Of course he does. Javi walks in and demands to know what Leo was really doing in Gabi’s bag. Leo says it’s for a story — top secret. Javi’s horrified to see his own cousins topping the suspect list and tells Leo to cut it out. Leo agrees to behave. Well, mostly.

Javi’s not sure this whole “living and working with Gabi” setup is healthy. Leo suggests the obvious: quit. Javi doesn’t hate the idea.

Secrets, Lies & Stolen Novels

Philip’s back in the office when he gets another call — this one’s a game changer. He won’t say what it is, just that it’s a “lucky break” and it’s going to make Xander absolutely explode. Can’t wait.

Meanwhile, Xander gets a call from Mr. Shin, and it’s worse than bad. Not only does he still have to work with Philip, but Shin drops the real kicker: the truth about the fraud must never come out. Translation? Salem’s mess is about to get messier.

Back at Stephanie’s, Alex is digging for his wallet but finds something way more interesting: a novel she wrote. Instead of, you know, minding his business, he pockets the manuscript just as Jada walks in. Sir, this isn’t your story.

Meanwhile, Kayla bails on lunch — Bo is her only focus now. Stephanie understands, hugs her mom, and bounces. Back at the pub, Shawn tells Steve they’re in this together. No more solo hero acts. They shake hands, sealing the deal. Salem’s newest crime duo is officially locked and loaded.
