Laura & Leslie | BTG, CBS

Anita Gets a Blast From the Past

Anita thought she was ready to see Tracy again, but she wasn’t. She and Vernon were pacing the country club like nervous chihuahuas while Anita dissected every possible reason Tracy might ghost her. But fashionably late and full of attitude, Tracy finally showed.

Things started off polite — you know, hugs, fake smiles — but they didn’t stay in that zone for long. Tracy dragged up the first time Vernon showed up backstage at an Articulettes show, saying he could’ve had any of the girls but went for Anita. That’s when Sharon lost her mind, apparently. But the real venom came when Tracy said she hated being the “pretty one” and blamed Dante Green, their shady label boss, for pitting them all against each other like some pop-punk Hunger Games.

Still, the reunion wasn’t a total mess. In fact, it went so well that Tracy agreed to stay the night at Vernon and Anita’s place. Someone warm up the vocal cords — we just might be heading toward a full Articulettes reunion.

Ashley and Derek: Love and Luggage

Jan showed up with spaghetti and hope, but what she got was Derek mid-pack and ready to bounce. Nope, not a vacation. Definitely not redecorating. The man was done.

Jan tried to play therapist and told him merging two lives is hard. Meanwhile, Ashley had already sprinted to Uptown and landed in Andre’s arms — figuratively at first, literally later.

Andre hit her with some home truths. He told her she’s not the only one who messed up and that Derek is a rare breed: a good guy. Ashley took that in, called him a good friend (ouch), and decided to fix things. Unfortunately, Derek had already peaced out, leaving her sobbing over an empty apartment and her own control-freak tendencies.

While Ashley was crying it out, Derek was venting to Jacob about the collapse of their coupledom and asking if he could crash on his couch. Jacob wasn’t having the pity party, telling Derek that “love doesn’t conquer all” if you don’t put in the work. Derek almost went back — almost. But something made him pause at the door, which is probably for the best since Ashley and Andre were mid-cuddle session by then. Timing? Tragic.

Tomás Turns Up the Heat With Eva

At Orphey Gene’s, Eva was doing some light birthday sulking when Tomás walked in. She asked if Kat would mind him joining her. He said he’d risk it. (And oh, did he.)

Tomás gave Eva a gift better than anything in a box: truth. He revealed that Leslie tried to pin Laura’s accident on her own daughter. That’s right — classic Leslie, using Eva like a doormat and then tossing her under a bus. Tomás thinks the real guilty party might just be Leslie herself.

They commiserated over their nightmare parents and shared a very cozy hand-hold. Eva warned that Kat wouldn’t be thrilled to see her man getting handsy with the enemy. But Tomás dropped another bomb: he’s not exactly Kat’s boyfriend anymore. Why? Because of Eva. Turns out, feelings are still simmering, and Kat’s not great at sharing.

Kat and Laura Start to Piece It Together

Kat, ever the detective’s daughter, went straight to the station to grill Jacob about Leslie. Turns out Leslie’s defense is “just kidding” — as in, she told Jacob she was only messing with Kat.

Jacob, however, had a lightbulb moment. Leslie’s shady behavior, lack of alibi, and weird deflections? All signs are pointing to her. Meanwhile, over at Garland Memorial, Laura came face to face with the woman herself. Leslie introduced herself like she was applying for a job instead of looming over her hospital bed like a villain in a soap opera.

Laura wasn’t fooled. She hit Leslie with a quick “we all know what you did” and implied that if someone’s pointing fingers at Eva, it might be a cover-up. Kat then burst in like she owned the place and kicked Leslie out. That’s when Laura dropped her own theory — she’s thinking Leslie was the mystery biker who ran her off the road.

Kat brought this juicy theory back to Jacob, including her hunch that someone tampered with Laura’s potassium levels. Jacob, ever the buzzkill, said he needs hard proof, not more gossip. But let’s be real — where there’s Leslie, there’s always something shady going on (and at least three wigs).

Eva Has Her Moment

Eva ran into her mother outside Orphey Gene’s, and Leslie tried to pretend like she just missed the party because of wig-washing priorities. But Eva was not having it.

She laid it all out: “You used me, lied to me, kicked me out — and now you’re trying to frame me?” Leslie might be the queen of drama, but Eva? She’s done playing the pawn.
